Craft fair Picture 1

I'll be adding more from my first craft fair this year. I met some really great people and hope to do more soon and in the future as well.

I really feel called to be a stay at home mom and with us wanting to start a family in a year-ish I think this is a great way to earn an extra income eventually.

There are several things I wish had been different. I was too close to the front desk and to close to the elevator. But was really near the entrance so pro's and cons.

There was not enough advertising but I feel that will change next year as several people on the board of directors for the Y spoke with the lady who organized and found out she did the best she could but the director of advertising slacked off. I do not want to be him this week as many asked for his contact info and he'll be getting majorly fussed at.

My table was a bit smaller than I hoped it would be so as you can tell it's really crowded. I also was not able to sit behind the table becasue of the location. I felt that was very unprofessional and a bit standoffish. But I couldn't do anything about it.

Next time if I get there early I will not have any qualms about switching tables.
