Eggcellent Lamp

When the latest Craftster.org challenge was issued (eggcellent upcycling) I really wanted to do something to do with lighting and easter eggs.
Oh my pics are taken with a camera phone as my real camera is broken. I had hubby take them so they came out pretty good though!
So my original idea was to use those christmas string style lights and carve designs into the plastic eggs. But I had the worst time finding a string with more than 10 and less than 70 lights on it.

And with that I set about to make my lamp.
My project only cost me the price of the eggs. A friend gave me the light part, and the "base" is cardboard covered in tissue paper. Basically this lamp cost me about 1.00. I just need a better place to put it....
And I think next year I need more eggs. It just isn't "full" enough.
