I made these with scraps left over from making little girls dresses for a missions trip.
Came out really nice! I used a tutorial and pattern from here:

The pattern and directions are very easy to follow. I don't see why this couldn't be hand sewn and or made with fabric from old clothing if that's what you have. I know my ferret is partial to denim.

Anywho made for a swap partner. She has 3 ferrets. I hope these two hammocks will be something they like. One is just cotton and one is cotton with a faux fur lining for warmth. My ferret likes to pick between which hammock she likes best depending on the house temp. :)
happy bright colors becasue ferret are happy critters.
