I could not get a good picture of this that didn't make some part of the bag look funny. I assure you the bag is even at the top and the flap folds over evenly as well.

I changed a few of the things I wanted to about the bag between this version and the last. I changed the tab and like it much better. I have decided that most swivel snaps are too heavy so I may make a version that I can tweek.
I used better interfacing and learned some things there. Like according to simple math the bag is smaller on the inside. Sorry no Time Lord Technology here. So this means I should have made the "guts" smaller rather than the exact same size as the rest of the pieces. But we learn through experience right?
I still need to make the tabs shorter. and need to adjust the pattern for the inside. I used different bias tape as the thinner kind I normally purchase was out. So this is typically used for quilts. But it turned out to be a good thing as I needed to cover a bit more than the thinner type would have.

My machine gave me fits at first but we talked it out and we're friends again. Which is good since I have 3 more of this style to make! (but different colors)

I love the colors on this bag. So pretty and elegant.
