NEW-Look-6809-Top-D neckline

Hubby really didn't know what I wanted when I asked for a closeup of the neckline. I really wanted to show how nice the ties came out now that they are fixed.
Oh well I cropped this one to show it sort of. I'll post the closeup momentarily.

I finally finished it! I shortened the elastic in the neckline and fixed the ties.
I also had mom help me get the ruffle pinned roughly in place and I played with the gathers. I think it's pretty evenly gathered but I have to say it's not due to the stupid notches made to help you line things up. I finally just left my center 4 pins in and moved everything around till it looked "right".

I think sometimes patterns make things way more complex than needed. Anyways I really like it!
